Vision And Values

Each Muslim must not reglect their duty on this earth. They obligated to do good conduct to all mankind, creatures and the earth as exemplified by Allah’s stipulated in QS Al-A’raf 7:56 and Al Qasas 28:77: “but seek, amidst that which God has given thee, the Last Abode, and forget not thy portion of the present world; and do good, as God has been good to thee.’ And seek not to work corruption in the earth; surely God loves not the workers of corruption.” Furthermore, Moslem also urged to gather and formed organized small group that focus on taking action stopping any earth destruction acts by lavish, exttravagant, and wasteful group of people, as mentioned in QS Hud 11:116.

Integrity, Track Record And Commitment

Globbal pressing issues on climate need multifaced efforts, and 111-years-old-Muhammadiyah as the one of the largest significant role to implement program to grass-root as well as to global fora. Muhammadiyah Climate Center should be a pivotal platform across Majelis / Councils within Muhammadiyah to take care of enviromental issues: MLH, Dikmendas, Dikti, Hub Luar Negeri, LHKP, etc.

Collaboration And Influence

Collaboration and synergies with Government of Indonesia, networks of government of international communities, national and global philanthropies also influence the public policy regarding the climate and environmental issues.

Action And Movement

Large and Impactful Programs within the Envoronmental Council (Majelis Lingkungan Hidup) that required funding can be assisted by globally recognized Muhammadiyah Climate Center.
